Emergency Broadband Benefit

City Schools Families!
Did you know that all City School families are eligible for up to $50 to help pay for Internet Access? Congress passed a bill authorizing the FCC to launch the $3.2 billion Emergency Broadband Benefit program. Families are able to use this benefit either on a mobile broadband plan from providers like T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T or for fixed broadband from Comcast. Funding for this program may end in approximately 4 to 6 months but Congress is currently working on a plan to extend the benefit. If you have any specific questions regarding EBB, feel free to contact Shawn Gross.
